1 Day Painting Workshop

Floral/Non-Traditional Mandala Painting Workshop

Saturday 28th May 10am – 4pm

Are you tired of doing everything online?

Have you tried painting with acrylic before and had unsatisfactory results so thought nah, that’s not for me?

Maybe you’ve never painted before and just don’t know how or where to start.

I’ve scheduled a friendly, in-person workshop at The Loft Venue, near Forres that is not just an enjoyable painting practice but includes lots of useful information about the materials to help jump start your painting journey.

You don’t need any prior painting experience at all. Absolute beginners are welcome.

This will be a fun day out for anyone who wants to try something different in a friendly atmosphere without any pressure to make something perfect.

We are experimenting and letting our inner child out to play.

Who doesn’t want a bit more joy in their life? This is an opportunity to take a day out just for you and let art restore your spirit.

Numbers are limited so that you have plenty of space to feel comfortable to paint in.

Want to find out what your unique personal expression of art may be?

I’ve chosen non-traditional mandalas as a tool for learning about the materials because there is no expectation or pressure to be able to realistically render something.

You have complete freedom to fully enjoy the painting process. Each one is as individual as the creators.

I’ll teach you why, the materials you use might make all the difference to your painting experience.

You’ll be given valuable tips on how to spend less but get more to jump start your journey into acrylic painting.

Amongst many other things, I will show you:

  1. What makes types of canvases and brushes different and where to find the best deals.

  2. How the quality of your paint will effect your work and how to make your paint go further so you get more bang for your buck.

  3. How to use the minimum amount of colours to mix the greatest range.

  4. How to avoid mixing muddy colours and how to salvage it if you do.

Please share with others who may be interested and feel free to get in touch with any questions.

I look forward to welcoming you.

Love and gratitude

Alanda xx
