Alanda Calmus

Contemporary painting, printmaking, and sculpture inspired by the wildlife of Scotland

About Me

I paint semi-abstract artwork exploring themes of nature and wildlife through layers of colour and texture.

Using intuitive mark-making to show vibrancy and express wonder, I aim to encourage a sense of connection to the natural world, reminding us to appreciate and protect it.

Portfolio

My work is always evolving and each new collection carries the experiences and discoveries of the past.

Found Forms

This limited series of small works features wildlife discovered within the remnants of previous landscape paintings.
