This painting was completed during the height of the Aries Stellium, a period associated with strong themes of energy, momentum and action.
The image began as an intuitive acrylic painting where the loose shapes started to suggest the form of a ram’s head and horn.
From there, I developed the piece further in oil, building detail while deliberately keeping parts of the original marks and movement from the under-painting visible.
The result is a layered painting that balances instinctive mark-making with a more resolved final image, reflecting the intensity and forward-driving energy connected with the Aries Stellium.
