Nothing to See Here - Heron oil painting

40x60cm oil on stretched canvas framed in a Hague blue, deed edge floating frame

There is something about a heron standing at the edge of water that makes you stop. Completely still. Watching. Waiting.

I wanted this painting to hold that feeling — the feeling of being beside water and suddenly becoming aware that you're sharing the space with something wild.

This is an original oil painting with layers of colour and expressive marks.
