Nature Revealed

Miniature oil and mixed-media pieces on paper. These are made from repurposed paintings on paper that didn't quite make it to the Out of Chaos collection.

The initial intuitive paint marks from much larger paintings have been cut up and subdued with a layer of semi-opaque paint.

The creatures in this instance were pre-determined but I work to find the right piece of background that allows them to nestle in perfectly.
